The variety is an interspecific hybrid of red clover (Trifolium pratense) and zigzag clover (Trifolium medium). The plant forms short underground rhizomes and a more branched root collar, resulting in a denser stand with a number of stems exceeding that of red clover.
The hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance and the ability to grow in one place for up to 5–6 years. The variety's production is distinguished by an increased content of nitrogenous substances and water-soluble sugars with a lower fiber content compared to the parent species.
The variety is intended for use as a forage crop on arable land for grazing, green fodder, silage, or hay, as well as a component in meadow grass mixtures.
