Variety description

The variety is a tetraploid interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing red clover (Trifolium pratense) and zigzag clover (Trifolium medium). The plant is perennial, characterized by an intermediate growth habit and the presence of short underground rhizomes inherited from zigzag clover. It forms a denser bush with a greater number of stems compared to red clover.
The plant is distinguished by high resistance to drought and adverse conditions, persisting in the sward for up to 5–6 years. The hybrid surpasses the parent species in the content of nitrogenous substances, digestible nitrogen, metabolizable energy, and water-soluble sugars, with a lower fiber content.
The variety is intended for use as a forage crop on arable land in pure stands or mixtures, as well as for the establishment and renovation of permanent pastures. It is recommended for harvesting haylage, silage, or for use as green fodder, especially in warm and arid regions.
