Krajová is not the name of a specific breeding variety but represents a traditional local form adapted to the climatic conditions of the region. In 1952, this form was registered for agricultural use for the purpose of producing seeds and medicinal raw materials.
During studies, it was determined that the Krajová form was characterized by sensitivity to infection by soil pathogens, in particular Fusarium oxysporum. At the same time, the results of phytochemical analysis indicated good quality indicators of dry raw materials and optimal content of essential oil components in the composition of the plants.
In 2006, this form was officially removed from the register and replaced by the Hanka variety. Today, the term is considered a designation for historical genetic material or local populations.
