The Brio variety is a spring form of triticale. Morphologically, it is characterized by a large spike, the length of which is one of the greatest among the studied samples, and a large number of spikelets in the spike, exceeding 25 units.

The grain of this variety has a relatively high quality in terms of protein content. Under testing conditions in the Far East, the variety was classified as susceptible to powdery mildew. The main purpose of the crop is for use as a forage grain base.
