The winter triticale variety named Desperado is included in official field crop registration lists, in particular in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. This variety is not a product of the DANKO Hodowla Roślin breeding company, despite being mentioned in a number of agricultural catalogs.
There is also a six-row barley variety named Desperado, bred in Canada, which is used as a forage crop. Due to the coincidence of names, confusion between these two crops is possible in agronomic reports.
