The variety is a winter type and was bred as an improved version of the Mizar variety. The plant is characterized by high productivity and adaptability to adverse abiotic factors, in particular to drought.

The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and good resistance to pathogens. In studies of the baking qualities of triticale, the variety demonstrated indicators typical for the crop of that period, with inherent difficulties in ensuring dough strength and bread volume.
