The variety was obtained based on lines CT932-89, CHD610-86, and Moreno using breeding materials from Canada, Hungary, and CIMMYT. The plant is characterized by high resistance to powdery mildew and leaf rust.
The grain has a high thousand kernel weight and test weight. The variety is used as a forage crop, as raw material for the food industry, and as a donor of disease resistance genes in soft wheat breeding.
