The variety is a spring form of the crop. It is used as a forage crop or raw material for biogas plants, and is well-suited for creating mixed crops with legumes. The grain of the variety is characterized by a higher protein content compared to spring barley.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging due to stem stiffness. During cultivation, fungicidal protection is recommended, especially aimed at rust control. The recommended seeding rate is 300–350 seeds per square meter at a planting depth of about 2 cm during the period from March to April.
