The variety belongs to the winter type and is classified as a steppe ecotype. During comparative trials in the northern part of the Ukrainian Steppe, the variety demonstrated a grain yield of 5.57 t/ha.

For cultivation, the most optimal sowing time is the second ten-day period of September with a seeding rate of 4.0 million viable seeds per hectare. The variety is used in breeding programs as a parental component for crossing.
