The variety is a hexaploid (6x) winter triticale. Genetically, the variety belongs to the same cluster as the Kitaro, Lamberto, and Triamant genotypes.

In scientific research, the variety is considered susceptible to Soil-borne cereal mosaic virus (SBCMV/WSSMV). It is frequently included in comparative productivity trials, where indicators such as thousand kernel weight and starch content are evaluated.
