The variety Trias is a winter form of triticale. In CPVO technical documentation, this variety is used as a reference sample when describing morphological characteristics, in particular, the density of hairs on the neck of the stem, which is rated as medium.
The variety is included in official variety lists and is intended for use in agronomic trials and production systems. The crop is traditionally used for grain production or fodder purposes.
