The variety is a forage crop. Plants are of the medium-height type and possess high lodging resistance. Cultivation results in the formation of high stand density, however, in comparative trials, the yield of the variety was reduced.
The variety possesses limited or insufficient winter hardiness. Under intensive cultivation conditions, susceptibility to leaf spots was noted. The variety is considered withdrawn from wide commercial production and appeared in reporting from the early to mid-2000s.
