The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis) and low resistance to infection by fungi of the genus Rhizoctonia (R. cerealis and R. solani).
The grain of the variety has been repeatedly used in laboratory analyses of technological properties, including the determination of protein content, ash content, and falling number, as well as in the study of gamma-prolamins.
