The variety was obtained as a result of crossing lines DC 2305 and Janetzkis Jabo. The plant is tall and prone to lodging. It has a pyramidal, loose, awnless ear of red-brown color. The grain is light or medium-brown in color and of medium-long shape.
The variety is characterized by susceptibility to powdery mildew, leaf rust, Septoria leaf blotch, and glume blotch, with tolerance to stem rust. Due to low tillering capacity and a limited number of grains per ear, it requires a high seeding rate of 450–550 grains per square meter.
It is distinguished by a high content of wet gluten and suitability for producing good quality flour. Due to its extreme precocity, it ensures a stable yield in alpine and subalpine regions, where other varieties do not have time to ripen. It can be used for early spring sowing.
