The variety belongs to a group of Italian genotypes whose pedigree shows the influence of Capeiti or Capeiti 8 varieties. Under experimental conditions in Southern Italy, plant height is 71–74 cm.

The plant possesses stem strength, which contributes to resistance to lodging and damage by insect pests, such as the wheat stem sawfly. Grain quality indicators are suitable for semolina production.

The variety is actively used in agronomic research for the comparative assessment of various tillage systems, including no-till methods and organic farming.
