The variety was created by adapting genetic material from Canada, the USA, and Mediterranean countries to climatic conditions with pronounced cold periods. Breeding was aimed at obtaining intensive forms resistant to lodging.

In phytopathological studies, the presence of resistance genes to leaf rust was noted, including the response to Lr16 and Lr44 isolates, as well as participation in trials for susceptibility to Fusarium.

The grain of the variety has high quality indicators, including an SDS sedimentation volume of about 42.8 cm³. The allelic composition of glutenins is characteristic of varieties used in the production of high-quality pasta.
