The variety belongs to the late-flowering group. A distinctive feature is the architecture of the root system, characterized by long roots and a narrow angle of their arrangement, which is capable of expanding when stress conditions occur. This structure allows the variety to maintain biomass and root volume during drought.

The variety is intended for the production of pasta, semolina, and other traditional products characteristic of durum wheat. At present, Vulci is the subject of scientific research and field trials dedicated to studying the mechanisms of plant resistance to unfavorable environmental factors.
