Variety description

10 August 2026

The Yavaros C-79 variety was obtained as a result of breeding following the Jori / Anhinga // Flamingo scheme. It was widely distributed in the regions of West Asia, North Africa, and the Mediterranean, where it was used for food purposes.

In agronomic studies, the variety was examined for resistance to powdery mildew and septoria, and also demonstrated adaptability under drought conditions. The variety was included in grain quality assessment samples, including protein and yellow pigment content.
