The variety is characterized by a red flower color and a plant height of about 38 cm. Descriptions contain conflicting data regarding the flower shape: the variety is classified as single, but some sources refer to it as double.

The plant is grown as a cut flower crop and is often used in festive flower supplies. During use in bouquets, the stems tend to bend toward the light source, which requires taking measures to maintain their upright position.
