The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The plant reaches a height of 40–45 cm. The large goblet-shaped flowers are burgundy in color with a dark dusting; the goblet height is from 7 to 10 cm.
Belongs to late-flowering varieties. Used in landscape design and for industrial forcing, including in water. Requires a cooling period at a temperature of 9 °C; the start of forcing is possible from January 5. The variety is suitable for open field, greenhouses, and container cultivation.
