The tulip variety Dressing belongs to the double group and is characterized by a dense double flower of peony-like or spherical shape. The petals have a delicate lilac-pink or marshmallow-pink shade with an olive-green dusting at the base; the bud length is 8–10 cm.

The plant reaches a height of 35–50 cm, possesses a strong thick stem and leathery lanceolate leaves of glaucous-green color. The flowering period occurs in April – May.

The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zone 3a, and stem resistance to lodging. It is used in landscape design for flower beds, borders, rock gardens, container gardening, and for cut flowers.
