The tulip Golden Prince Claus is a sport of the variety Judith Leyster and belongs to the Triumph group. The plant reaches a height of 50–55 cm. The flower has a dense goblet shape and a saturated lemon-yellow color.
The blooming period of the variety occurs in April-May. The plant is characterized by strong peduncles and resistance to weather conditions, which allows it to be used for forcing, landscaping compositions, and cut flowers. The old variety Golden Prince, known since 1785, is classified as a Single Early tulip.
