The Hilde variety belongs to botanical tulips and is a form of Tulipa cretica. The plant is characterized by its compactness and reaches a height of about 15 cm. The flowers are small, star-shaped, and white-pink in color with a yellow center; the leaves are thin.

The plant is spring-flowering and capable of naturalization under suitable conditions. It possesses a medium level of resistance to certain diseases. It is used primarily in ornamental gardening for planting in containers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens, requiring good light.
