The variety belongs to the Double Late Group. It is a sport of the Queen of Bartigons variety.

The outer side of the perianth is colored pink with lightening towards the middle of the petal and an ivory hue at the base. The inner side of the petals is carmine-pink, the base is brownish-yellow.
