The variety is a sport of the Zarewitch variety. It belongs to the lily-flowered tulip group (Lily-flowered). The petal color is carmine-red with a yellow margin at the top. The base of the flower inside is blood-red, transitioning into thin stripes.

Flowering is late. Plant height varies between 50–60 cm. The variety is intended for decorative use in gardens.
