Tulip variety Obsession belongs to the Double Late group. The plant reaches a height of 40–55 cm. Flowering occurs during the period from April to May.

Double peony-flowered blooms have a diameter of 7–9 cm; their color varies from soft pink-lilac to dark burgundy. The peduncles are strong; the variety is suitable for forcing and is characterized by long-lasting freshness in cut flowers.

The variety has high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zone 3, and is characterized by resistance to diseases.
