The plant reaches a height of 25–40 cm. The outer part of the petals is colored delft rose with mandarin-red "feathers" on the edges, a yellow border, and a greenish-yellow base. The inner part of the petals has an Indian orange color with yellow highlights and a greenish base with yellow spots.

The variety is intended for ornamental gardening, including group plantings and container cultivation. It is also used in scientific research on the mechanisms of tulip flowering regulation. In zones with cold winters, it requires protection.
