Tulip Norma Major belongs to the lily-flowered tulip group. The plant forms a single dark red flower and has a distinct fragrance. The peduncle height is from 40 to 50 cm.

The flowering period occurs in April–May. The variety is suitable for cutting, flower bed decoration, and container cultivation. It prefers sunny areas and well-drained soils. The winter hardiness of the variety is rated as high.
