The variety is a hybrid and belongs to the "Magic" series. It is classified in the fringed tulip group, although it is sometimes described in sales catalogs as a double fringed or peony-flowered fringed tulip.

The flowers are of a soft pink shade, sometimes with cream or yellowish tones in the center. The plant has sturdy stems suitable for supporting large buds.

The variety is late-flowering. It is suitable for forcing, including in water, as well as for decorative landscaping of gardens, flower beds, containers, and for use as cut flowers.
