The variety belongs to the group of double late tulips and blooms in May. The plant reaches a height of about 45 cm. The flowers are double, lemon-yellow in color, and a bright green hue may be observed at the base of the buds. The bud size is up to 8 cm in height and up to 6 cm in diameter.
The plant is used in ornamental gardening. In a number of publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of multiflowered types, however, the primary classification feature is its belonging to the double late tulips.
