The variety belongs to the Triumph tulip group. The outer part of the petals is tomato-red, with margins varying from currant-red to blood-red with a wide tomato-red border, and the base has a primrose-yellow hue.

The inner side of the petals is tomato-red, lightening towards the apex, with a canary-yellow base.
