The flower has a dark maroon, brownish-maroon, or deep crimson color with a distinct white border along the edge of the petals. The petals are elongated and pointed. The plant height varies in the range of 40 to 60 cm; the flower stem is strong and resistant to lodging.
The variety is mid-season, with the flowering period occurring in April–May. There is conflicting data regarding classification: the variety is attributed to both the Triumph class and lily-flowered tulips. The plant possesses good resistance to diseases and pests.
The variety is suitable for professional cut flower cultivation, as well as for use in gardens, parks, mixed borders, flower beds, and for container cultivation.
