The tulip Renown belongs to the Single Late tulip class. Its flowers are ovoid or goblet-shaped, colored bright pink or fuchsia-red, often with lighter edges and a yellow base of the petals with a blue border. Stem height ranges from 40 to 65 cm. The variety blooms in May and is intended for cut flowers and group plantings.

The tulip Renown Unique belongs to the Double Late tulip class. Lush, double flowers with a diameter of 10–12 cm have a crimson-red or watermelon-pink color with a greenish-yellow tint on the outer petals and possess a light sweet fragrance. Plant height varies from 40 to 85 cm. The variety is characterized by high stem strength, a long period of freshness in cut flowers, and is suitable for forcing, landscaping, and borders.
