Tulip variety Siesta belongs to the group of fringed tulips. Its goblet-shaped flowers have a pink-purple hue with a characteristic white border and a white base, and the edges of the petals are covered with needle-like fringe. The height of the peduncle is from 40 to 60 cm.
The variety is mid-late or late, with flowering occurring in the period from April to May. The plant is winter hardy, suitable for cut flowers and decorative landscaping, including flower beds and container cultivation. It requires well-drained soils, as it is sensitive to moisture stagnation.
