The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The goblet-shaped flowers, up to 6 cm in height, have a characteristic needle-like fringe along the petal edges. The petal color is pinkish-white with a wide strawberry-crimson or red border.

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and blooms in April–May. The variety is versatile and suitable for cultivation in gardens and for cut flowers. It prefers sunny areas with loose, well-drained loamy or sandy loam soils, while it is critically important to avoid water stagnation.
