The plant reaches a height of 60 cm. The large ovoid or goblet-shaped flower is 7–8 cm high. The coloration combines coral, red-orange tones and pink streaks with a yellow base. The inner perianth segments have two translucent stripes; the outer ones are matte, with a glaucous bloom and green veins.

The base of the flower is black-green, velvety, with a star shape and an intermittent light-yellow border. The filaments are dirty-blue, and the anthers are violet-blue. A characteristic feature is the retention of the flower shape without opening in the sun until wilting.

The variety belongs to the early-flowering group and is used in ornamental landscaping. A number of studies have recorded high susceptibility to viral diseases, which limits its use in mass plantings.
