ActiveTulipa L. · Tulip
H. MANTEL EN ZN
10 August 2026
The variety is a mutation of the tulip Hans Anrud. The flower has a goblet shape, is white with blackberry-purple or dark maroon streaks, and the inner side of the petals may have a canary yellow shade. The height of the sturdy stems is 40–60 cm, and the foliage is grey-green.
The plant is mid-season flowering; the flowering period occurs in April–May. The stems are resistant to wind and precipitation. Annual lifting of bulbs and planting in fertile, well-drained soils are required. Susceptibility to tulip breaking virus, Botrytis tulipae, and rot is possible under conditions of moisture stagnation.
