This clone was obtained by breeders of the Estonian University of Life Sciences from seeds collected in 1997 and 2000. The plant is not a commercial variety and represents material for comparative trials on various types of soils.

During the research, clone 8-04 was classified as a specimen with relatively small fruits compared to other breeding numbers tested. Specific data on shrub height, ripening dates, and disease resistance are not presented in open sources.
