The plant has strap-shaped leaves of green or dark green color up to 60 cm in length, arranged in two rows. A characteristic feature is the powerful aerial roots capable of absorbing moisture from the air.

Flower stalks form in the leaf axils and bear up to eight large waxy flowers of rounded shape. The variety requires specific cultivation conditions with high humidity and good lighting, without the use of traditional soil substrate.
