The «Vanity» variety of verbena is a compact upright plant 60–90 cm tall with good basal branching and sturdy stems resistant to lodging. The foliage is narrow and lanceolate. The plant forms dense violet-purple inflorescences with a light fragrance.
The variety is a perennial plant but is often grown as an annual depending on the climate. Flowering begins in June and continues until October. The crop tolerates heat and drought, attracts pollinators, and is suitable for use in landscape design and container gardening.
