Variety description

The plant is an evergreen ornamental shrub 60–90 cm in height and width. The foliage is characterized by a color ranging from deep bronze-purple to almost black-green. Small, fragrant flowers in pink, lilac, or violet-mauve shades are gathered in spike-like inflorescences; the flowering period occurs in spring and summer.
The variety is intended for borders, mass plantings, and container cultivation. The plant is thermophilic (USDA hardiness zones 8b–11) and requires protection from cold winds. The shrub tolerates full sun or light partial shade well, requires well-drained soils, and regular watering during the growth period.
