The plant forms dense, compact mats of creeping stems. The foliage has a golden-yellow color, which changes to chartreuse in partial shade. The height of the vegetative part is 7–15 cm, during flowering the flower stalks can reach 20 cm.
The flowers are small, sky-blue or lavender-blue in color, gathered in dense spike-like inflorescences. Flowering occurs in May–July. The plant is frost-resistant, drought-tolerant; under unfavorable conditions, it may be susceptible to powdery mildew or root rot in case of water stagnation.
The variety is used for bordering, rock gardens, planting between garden path paving stones, as well as in container cultivation. It tolerates pruning well after flowering, which stimulates new foliage growth and maintains the plant's shape.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
