Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is an evergreen shrub with a compact upright crown, reaching a height of 1.8 to 3 meters. One of the key features of the variety is the young leaves and shoots, which have a bronze, copper-red, or purple hue, and turn dark green and glossy as they mature. The coloration of the new growth reappears after pruning.

Flowering occurs in late spring or early summer, accompanied by the appearance of fragrant white flowers in panicle inflorescences. After flowering, berries are formed, changing color from red to black. The plant is drought-tolerant, prefers sunny locations or partial shade and well-drained soils, hardiness zone 7–10.
