The plant belongs to vigorous varieties reaching a height of 120–150 cm. It is characterized by long straight pods 20–25 cm in size that hang along the stem, with 2–3 fruits often forming at a single node. The flowers are variegated. The seeds are medium-large, have a narrow oval flattened shape, and a grayish-white color with a black hilum.
The variety is late-maturing and belongs to the group of beans that turn brown when boiled, possessing a characteristic slightly bitter taste. Historically, it was used for fresh consumption, canning, and as a windbreak crop; however, due to its structure and maturity period, the variety is considered unsuitable for mechanized harvesting.
