The variety belongs to the white-flowered bean types and is characterized by a medium maturity period. Starch content in the grain is approximately 456 g/kg of dry matter. The variety was developed with a focus on high nutritional value.

Breeding is focused on ensuring resistance to a number of diseases, including Fusarium root rot, rust, Ascochyta blight, and chocolate spot (Botrytis fabae). The variety was used as a control sample when assessing resistance to Botrytis fabae in international trials.
