The variety is a vegetable crop focused on obtaining tender young grains for culinary use. The plant is distinguished by very high uniformity and productivity, often forming double pods.
The pods are straight, narrow, and cylindrical, each containing 5 to 7 grains. The seeds are white in color, which is maintained even after the shell dries. The plant maturity period is 5 days shorter than that of the Reina Blanca variety.
Literature notes a lower susceptibility of the variety to Rhizoctonia. The variety belongs to the Vicia faba var. major group and is intended for vegetable production, as opposed to field fodder beans.
