The variety is a spring crop used in farm animal diets. Breeding of the variety is aimed at combining high productivity with grain quality characteristics, including protein content and control of anti-nutritional factors.

The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and good resistance to pod shattering. It is characterized by immunity to downy mildew. The grain yield potential varies from 36.1 to 55.9 c/ha.
