The variety belongs to the alternative type, which occupies an intermediate position between winter and spring forms. It is early-maturing; the ripening period under spring sowing is about 55 days. The variety is rather sensitive to cold and is suitable for cultivation only in regions with mild winters.

Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by narrow leaves and stems without pubescence. The flowers are purple, and the seeds have a cream hue. Historically, the variety was used as a forage crop, and in scientific research, it was examined in terms of green mass and dry matter productivity.
