The variety is intended for use as a winter intermediate crop and is often included in forage mixtures such as the "Landsberg mixture". The plant possesses high winter hardiness in Central European conditions and is undemanding regarding soil, tolerating light sandy soils well.

The plant is capable of reaching 1.5 meters in height and has blue-purple or white flowers. Due to its high nitrogen-fixing ability, the variety serves as an effective predecessor for corn and root crops. The high protein content, exceeding that of alfalfa by approximately 20%, provides excellent nutritional value.
