The variety is intended for use for green mass and feed grain purposes. The potential yield of green mass is 300–350 c/ha, and seed yield is 25–30 c/ha.

The plant is resistant to diseases and adapted for cultivation in the conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions. The variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting.
